Generally if you're getting a memory exhausted error while building a
matrix that is being built element-by-element, it could possibly be
helpful to pre-allocate the space for the matrix, i.e.
x = zeros (744,5);
for i = 1:744
for j = 1:5
x = something(i,j);
There is a chance that this would fix the errors.
Common sense is what tells you that the world is flat.
